Membership

What does a membership do for you? We are the resident’s voice to city hall, to the province and to Ottawa. Routinely we have members from all levels of government come to our meetings to talk with the members. This provides grassroots communication with these decision makers. In the past 5 years the Crossroads Community Association was instrumental in the building of three playgrounds, stopping another liquor store from coming into the community and cleaning up thousands of tons of garbage. This increases property values, lowers crime, and makes a healthier and happier community-positive change in community members lives.

The more members we have the stronger our voice to government when applying for grants, and fighting things that impact the community, such as aircraft noise. We also will not burn out, as many volunteers do, and we’ll get new people in with new skill sets to help the betterment of the whole community. You will get a discount on hall rentals, and can get involved in many of the activities we offer such as Scouts, Guides, Pre-school, Festivals, Free Movie Nights, Pub Nights, etc.  Also we have a Free Christmas Lights Bus tour every year for our Members! It only makes sense to support and be a part of your community.

A yearly membership is $10.00 for seniors and $15.00 for family!
